Community Support Services-Harrison and Stone Counties

Immediate openings are available for Community Support Services Specialists (Case Managers) in Harrison and Stone Counties.  There are 2 openings in Harrison County located at the Main Office in Gulfport and the Crisis Stabilization Unit in Gulfport, MS.  There is 1 opening available in our Stone County Office in Wiggins, MS.

Duties for these positions include but are not limited to:

  • Ability to operate a motor vehicle and willingness to use own transpiration in order to access clients in their homes
  • Maintain current unrestricted driver’s license and maintain current auto insurance
  • Provide crisis intervention as needed
  • Provide direct services, support, and education to clients including linage to resources and advocacy within community settings
  • Maintain caseloads in accordance with the Mississippi Department of Mental Health Standards
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications-Required:

  • Bachelor’s degree in social work, psychology, or another mental health related field
  • Ability to pass a background check as required by state law

School Based Clinicians-Gulfport/Biloxi

Immediate openings are available for 4 School Based Clinicians in the Gulfport and Biloxi School Districts.

Duties include but are not limited to:

  • Complete assessments, provide individual/family therapy sessions in the school and Center settings, and provide crisis services, consultations, and other collaborations in the school setting
  • Responsible for development and implementation of treatment plans
  • Maintain client records in accordance with state and federal law
  • Participate in weekly staff meetings, school staff meetings, and in-service training
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the School Based Services Coordinator

Qualifications-Required

  • Master’s Degree in behavioral science, social work, psychology, or other mental health related field
  • Professional License, i.e., PCMHT, CMHT, LMSW, LPC, LMFT-A, LMFT, or LCSW
  • Ability to pass a background check per state law

Qualifications-Preferred

  • Experience in diagnosing problematic moods, behaviors, and family disfunctions
  • Knowledge of child development, family dynamics, parenting skills, psychological theory, and cultural influences

Billing Supervisor-Gulfport

An immediate opening is available for a Full Time Billing Supervisor at Gulf Coast Mental Health Center’s Main Office located in Gulfport, MS.  The hours for this position are Monday-Friday 8am-5pm.  Duties for this position include but are not limited to:

  • Supervise a staff of 3-4 billing and data entry clerks
  • Ensure service providers are properly credentialed
  • Train and guide staff in all counties on billing procedures
  • Respond to client billing and insurance questions and address any concerns
  • Post payments, account adjustments, and record miscellaneous receipts
  • Maintain master files
  • Other duties as assigned by the CFO

Qualifications-Required:

  • Highschool Diploma or GED (proof of education is required)
  • Ability to pass a background check as required by state law
  • Prior experience in billing

Qualifications-Preferred:

  • RHIA, CPB, CMRS, or like billing credential
  • Prior experience supervising a billing staff
  • Prior mental health related billing duties

Program Assistant-Crossroads Recovery Center-Gulfport

Immediate openings available for 2 Full Time and 2 Part Time employees at Crossroads Recovery Center located in Gulfport, MS.  The full time shifts available are 3p-11p and 11p-7a.  The part time shifts available are primarily for afternoons and evenings primarily Friday-Sunday.  Duties include, but are not limited to:

  • Transport and supervise residential drug treatment clients during planned field trips and appointments
  • Complete client progress notes in accordance with program guidelines
  • Provide guidance and support to clients as needed
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the Residential Director

Qualifications Required:

  • High School Diploma or GED (proof of education is required)
  • Valid MS Driver’s License and insurable for driving.  Must obtain a Class D license within 30 days of hire.
  • Prior experience in a residential drug treatment facility desirable.
  • Ability to pass a background check per state law

Program Assistant-Women’s Group Home-Harrison County

Immediate openings available for 3 Part Time employees at New Hope House Women’s Group Home located in Harrison County.  The part time shifts available will be scheduled in the following way:

Open Part Time Position 1-Sun 4p-9p, Tues 3p-11p, Thurs 3p-11p, Sat 10a-2p

Open Part Time Position 2-Sun 10a-2p, Wed 3p-11p, Fri-4p-9p, Sat 3p-11p

Open Part Time Position 3-Sun 7a-4p, Wed 4p-9p, Thurs 4p-9p, Sat 7a-4p

Note:  Part Time employees will be expected to occasionally pick up extra shifts due to scheduled vacations, call outs, etc.

Duties include, but are not limited to:

  • Transport and supervise residents during planned field trips and appointments

  • Provide guidance and support to residents as needed
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the group home Coordinator
